Make Your Way To Mokka Coffeehouse

This morning I decided to try the Middle Eastern style coffee shop downtown at 476 Thames St. I had heard a few good things about it from friends so it was about time I try for myself. Here’s how my experience went:
AWESOME vibes when I walked in. The atmosphere has a laid back feel and the owner was very friendly and relaxed. All of the coffee is homemade right in the store and it is good stuff. I got a caramel iced latte, which was different than most lattes that I’ve tried. The foam was still at the top because it was just brewed. SO GOOD. The flavor was excellent too. I like a dark coffee but not too bitter. This latte was the perfect balance between sweet and bold.

The cafe only takes cash and I obviously tried to pay with a debit card… the owner said not to worry and I could pay later. Not something you see everyday… I ran to an ATM and paid because I didn’t want to forget or nauseous all day until I paid off my debt!

Overall, great experience. Definitely a place I would hang out and do some homework in (free Wi-fi). My large latte was around $4.50 which is more than 50 cents cheaper than Starbucks. I’ll take it!

Definitely try Mokka. You will feel cool and hip and get a great coffee.
